AI polyp detection for colonoscopy
Magentiq Eye's MAGENTIQ-COLO™ is purpose-built AI that maintains the existing colonoscopy workflow, highlighting suspected polyps in real time with a bounding box on the main screen or a separate screen, plus polyp size category and type shown alongside the frame.
The computing device takes the digital video output from the existing endoscopy tower — compatible with leading systems including Olympus, Fujinon, Pentax and Sonoscape. No change to procedure technique is required; detected frames can be recorded and exported, and a procedure report with duration and findings is generated at the end.
Magentiq Eye reports detection performance for MAGENTIQ-COLO™ of 100% polyp-wise sensitivity, 72% frame-wise sensitivity and 97% specificity.
Validation and regulatory status
A comprehensive study of Magentiq Eye's MAGENTIQ-COLO™ covering 950+ patients across 10 leading medical centers with 31 endoscopy experts reported a 37% relative increase in adenomas per colonoscopy, a 26% relative increase in adenoma detection rate and a 48% relative decrease in adenoma miss rate.
